"Frontier House" is the story of three 21st century families who went back in time to experience life as 19th century pioneers in the Montana wilderness. The score, which uses both traditional acoustic instruments and contemporary production techniques, serves as a kind of emotional bridge connecting the feelings and images we have of our past with the complex realities of the present.
