“Night of the Dark Moon” is the second of three works for Pilobolus Dance Theater created by choreographer Alison Chase with music by Edward Bilous. The music is a setting of Sufi texts scored for three female singers, 5 drummers, chamber ensemble and electronic processing. It was premiered at the Joyce Theater in New York in June 2004. A concert version of the music was performed in Alice Tully Hall in November of 2004 with Brenda Patterson singing.
